The young staff in the restaurant were under pressure due to being understaffed butt did a great job! Room was comfortable though noise from adjacent room was distracting at 3.00 am
Desk staff were helpful and spoke good English but weren't overly friendly. Thin walls were a drawback
We stayed there overnite on our Alsace trip. There's nothing special to say about the hotel itself - but we got all we need there (bed, shower, and the dinner). You'll need a car to get to/back.
We found the hotel very convenient for an overnight stay near a motorway between Calais and the north of Italy. The breakfast was excellent and the staff most helpful. The modern decor was very tasteful.
Air conditioning would have been appreciated. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed at the time of our visit.
The room was cheap.
There was nothing available at this hotel in that it was a Monday and everything was closed including the restaurant in the hotel. We had to travel to the next town Hagenau to get something to eat. Reception also closed early. Reception staff not very helpful. No a/c in room and we couldn't leave windown open as it was easily accessible by a roof beside the window. Not much available in the morning food wise. Breakfast overpriced for what we got.
I have found the staff to be really nice but in my tiny room here was really terrible bed to sleep on; extremely unconfortable; what a terrible night; for sure I will never again sleep in that hotel
The food in the restaurant was really lovely
We were not able to eat at the restaurant on the second stay-over because it was fully booked. It's worth booking a table in advance to ensure that you don't need to try to find somewhere to eat in a town you don't know after a day of travelling.
We arrived very late due to severe traffic delays and we were too late for dinner although we found breakfast to be very enjoyable .We felt that the room and the bathroom to be very comfortable and practical ,although it would benefit from a shower screen .The hotels location made it accessible to the adjacent motorways which was of great help to our trip. Overall we would certainly recommend the hotels to others needing a hotel on that route .
Very little to dislike and we felt the hotel will offer a good location to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable hotel close to Baden Baden but across the Rhine and just in France .
It was comfortable and felt very secure. The restaurant was particularly good with a high standard of cuisine.
No negative comments.
I had no other choice than to stay at this hotel as all hotels in strasbourg centre were fully booked for the length of my stay due to parliament prosiding. The hotel is very far (40km) from the strasbourg centre and I had to walk almost 1.5 km to and from the hotel to the train station to catch train to strasbourg centre and had to pay 10.4 euro for a return ticket everyday. The worst scenario was when I arrived from Prague at Strasbourg main train station only to be told that the hotel was 40 km away and because it was already late night( pass 10 pm when I arrived ) I had no other choice but to take a taxi to the hotel and had to pay 100 euro for that! ( original price 120 euro). rizal, Kuala Lumpur malaysia
Nothing bad about the hotel, just a bad time to be in strasbourg definitely! rizal. Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
It was impossible to eat in the restaurant without a reservation. Poor service for hotel guests. We had to search around for someplace else to eat.
Fully reformed inside, really nice restaurant and good value for money. Beautiful surroundings and right in front of small park, very convenient if you bring pets.
the most was OK, but not as promised by the internet. breakfast ok but we expected more for 8 Euro rather quiet neigborhood. parking for free.
the rooms look absolutely different than on the pictures. the interior seemed rather old, not every lamp had a light bulb. the ones who had, had very bright ones. the price was too high for the expected hotel quality. the hotel has only 1 hairdryer which was not available. the bathroom had an old bathtub without showercurtain.
Very pleasant, warm and quiet. Pleasant staff and good breakfasts and dinnner.
Did not know that restaurant closed on Mondays - others are a couple of miles away. Matress was quite hard which did not suit my wife's back.
